I'm SO there right now. I'm in complete denial. It happens way too quickly!
Ohhh your little girl has become so big.
It's hard to watch them grow up, but I find so much comfort knowing my friends feel the same way...not that I want you to feel bad or anything... :)
That looks like a really healthy lunch. And is that her uniform? It's so pretty. Wish schools here would give up their archaic checked pinafores.

It was hard for me too, letting Amie go off to daycare, then school. But she loves it so! And we still have many many hours together, and if she were home with just plain ole me all the time...
Anj ... she looks simply adorable in her uniform and you are doing a good job with her tiffin box too. You both need a big squeeze. Rock n Rosh are thrilled to see that she has a uniform that is simliar to theirs :) Love you loads ... has she and have you adjusted to the new routine!?
Jw: I couldn't agree more, before I know it she'll be leaving for college..seriously, its too quick.
Mia's mama: we're all in it together..its hard man..really too much for this heart to handle. I just want her to be happy. Once she's adjusted I'll be fine but its so hard to see her crying when I leave. UGH.
Banno: The checked pinafores are an option..so far I prefer her to be in the long pants for the winter. We'll see how long this lasts, she is having a really tough time adjusting. Its been two weeks and the tears haven't stopped...we'll try it out for a month and then see.
Kaat: Anika has not yet gotten to the stage of 'loving it' she is definitely excited, she loves the montessori work but I think the discipline and the structure of the class maybe too much for her too soon..Maybe the separation for the first time after 30 months of mama all the time is too hard...dunno. I am so conflicted.
Pri: She is so adorable, you should see her in two pony tails..toooo edible..She is having a hard time, it seems harder this second week because its sinking in that 'this is an everyday' thing...We'll see how she feels next week...=(
