going strong

Its day 5 and I'm still going strong..I'm excited. Today I jogged for 25 minutes! It wasn't that bad at all..I think the key is going every single day.

Yay for 5 days!!

Ok, so I started on Wednesday (on monday and Tuesday, I couldn't get out of bed in time), but I did it yesterday AND today!! I'm not up for jogging yet, just trying to get the power walk down. I am only gone for 30 minutes too. It seems like I'm gone for almost an hour, but I'm not.

Also realized I need new tennis shoes. Mine are way too small now. How did that happen?!?

I'm getting out by 6:05 am. Are you up at that time too?

Andrea, who is determined to do this challenge with you!

Yay! I love having you for a buddy. Did you know my feet grew after Anika?! And I've heard it from other moms too, maybe these are pre-Sophia tennis shoes. I want to try to go out at 6 but Anika wakes up right then, I think she senses i'm up and then I have to make sure she falls back to sleep before I leave at 7. So its not dark out when I go out..you are AMAZING for doing this challenge too, I know how hard you work all day, waking up that early is hard but I think this everyday thing will make us get used to it. By day three I was already psyched to get out. Do you drink coffee before you go out?

These are pre-Sophia shoes, but they were post-Domi and Jay shoes, but I guess feet can grow even more. How's that for sexy?

I HAVE to do this first thing in the morning because by the end of the day, I'm WIPED out. There is no way I would be able to motivate myself to go walking after dinner.

It is hard getting up earlier, but what I've found is, I love doing this while it's still dark...how cool and crisp the air is, how quiet it is outside, how I can still see the moon and stars, and wake my body up and get those endorphins moving, which allows me to get 'centered in time for the children to arrive for their day at my casa.

Thank you for motivating me to do this.

oh, and no I don't drink my coffee until I get back home. I'm a total addict.

Go for it!
I'm doing something less fatiguing, but no less empowering: every day now, when Amie sits down to draw something, I sit next to her with my journal and drew her. The first drawing were/are really bad, but with practice... you know!
Cheering you on,
